MIDIRS is pleased to announce the launch of Essentially MIDIRS, a new, independent, monthly publication for individuals and member associations involved in the care of pregnant women, new mothers and babies.
Available from 1st June 2010, Essentially MIDIRS will be edited by well known midwife, author, teacher and researcher, Sara Wickham, and looks set to become a serious consideration for those searching for an evidence-based information learning resource to support them in their practice and studies. The Iolanthe Midwifery Trust Student Award – supported by MIDIRS
In 2009 the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust and MIDIRS joined together in supporting student midwives in their education through access to national and international experiences within midwifery practice, so that mothers, their babies and families receive the highest standards of care.
Applications for the 2009/2010 awards will appear on the IMT website in November for a January 2010 submission.
