I’m absolutely delighted to introduce Sharon Trotter, to share with us her specialist knowledge and expertise in these areas.
Sharon is a midwife with special interests in breastfeeding and baby skincare. Sharon works within the NHS and independently to advise and promote best practice in these areas. Following publications in various midwifery journals, Sharon has implemented a new policy for baby skincare within her NHS organisation. She will chart her journey from hypothesis to implementation of the new policy, recent alignment with NICE guidelines and a proposed RCM ‘Motion to Conference’ to stop the routine provision of baby products in all UK maternity units.
