MIDIRS Database
MIDIRS Database is a collection of journal article references, book chapters, reports and other literature relating to the midwifery profession, pregnancy, labour, birth, postnatal care and neonatal care, extending into the first year of life.
MIDIRS Information Team regularly scan over 550 international English language journals, adding approximately 1,000 new records to the database each month. There are over 140,000 records currently held on the database.
MIDIRS works hard to increase record enhancement (keyword assignment, abstract, categorisation by item type, allocation to a pre-prepared Standard Search) and to make MIDIRS database as user-friendly as possible for subscribers.
