Midwives and allied health professionals, who have an interest and passion for childbirth, are invited to attend the In Awe of Birth Conference 2017.
The conference will offer delegates the opportunity to take part in practical exercises to learn new techniques of hypnobirthing which can be used in practice.
Speakers at the event include:
Amanda Burleigh – a leading campaigner against early cord clamping and Midwife of the Year who will be sharing her knowledge
Paul Golden – will be presenting a talk on knowing your rights in childbirth and knowing when to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
Selina Wallis – will be hosting a practical session on Rebozo. She will also be presenting the latest evidence on fetal and maternal positions in pregnancy and birth.
Mary Stewart – Mary will be presenting her qualitative research into vaginal examinations and how best to support women in this area.
Each delegate attending the conference will receive a free copy of the bestselling ‘The Hypnobirthing Book’ by Katharine Graves, along with information and further reading resources.
The In Awe of Birth Conference 2017 will be held on Saturday 4 March 2017 in London and Saturday 1 April 2017 in Manchester.
The London event will held at Governor’s Hall in St Thomas’ Hospital, South Wing, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7EH, where the conference will begin at 9am and is expected to finish by 4:30pm.
The Manchester event will be held in the Main Hall at St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester, M12 6FZ. Conference time is from 9am until 4:30pm.
