The conference, being held by CULSU Midwifery Society, offers a selection of guest speakers, including Joy Clarke, Musa Admani and Leyla Hussein.
During the day, midwives and other maternity health professionals will be able to view a screening of BAFTA-nominated documentary, The Cruel Cut, as well as the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with Leyla Hussein.
Various workshops will be run throughout the day.
City University’s conference is being held to mark International Zero Tolerance to FGM Day.
Tickets to the event cost £25 full price (for non-students), £15 for students, and the event is free for student midwives who are members of CULSU Midwifery Society.
Registration will be at 8am until 9am at Poynton Lecture Theatre in Centenary Building, London on Wednesday 3 February 2016.
Tickets include a lunch, and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
