The fifth annual Doula UK conference at the Manchester Renaissance Hotel on Saturday 25th March 2017, coincides with both World Doula Week and Doula UK’s sixteenth birthday.
Ina May Gaskin is the Keynote speaker, followed by a day of workshops and networking and further talks. Elsie Gayle (Independent Midwife/Doula) will speak on Being The Outsider Within, followed by a talk by world-renowned authority on oxytocin, Kerstin Uvnäs Moberg, and a performance by Hollie McNish.
Among the delegates are doulas, midwives, breastfeeding supporters, antenatal teachers, health visitors, OBGYNs and other perinatal workers and birthkeepers. Babies are also welcome!
About Doula UK
Doula UK is the leading organisation for doulas in the UK, with a network of around 700 birth and postnatal doulas. Doula UK was founded in 2001 as a not-for-profit organisation and is run by its volunteer members.
