The workshop has been introduced following the publication of the Kirkup Report, presented at the RCM conference last week, which highlights maternity system failings.
All midwives are invited to attend the workshop that aims to build midwives’ confidence and providing an opportunity develop new skills.
The interactive workshop will be exploring how midwives can aspire to be the best they can be, understanding the dynamics of professional relationships, professional autonomy and accountability.
There will also be an opportunity to network and meet colleagues.
Midwives from all levels of practice are welcome to attend.
The event costs £60 +VAT for union members and £75 +VAT for non-members, and will be held at The Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London.
