The second North of England Breech Birch Conference will be reviewing the latest evidence surrounding holistic care for women who have elected to have a vaginal breech birth.
Organised by The Sheffield Breech Team, speakers for the conference are breech practitioners and figures who represent choice and human rights for parents.
The conference is supporting women’s choice of birthing a breech baby vaginally.
Speakers confirmed for the event include: Royal College of Midwives Chief Executive Cathy Warwick, representative of the charity Birthrites Johanna Rhys-Davies and Author of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Greentop Guideline will present current evidence.
Following the success of the first North of England Breech Birth Conference in 2014, The Sheffield Breech Team hope to see the next edition to be just as a success.
The Sheffield Breech Team are 2016’s Royal College of Midwives’ Winners for Excellence in Maternity Care for their collaborative care in caring for women expecting breech babies.
The North of England Breech Birth Conference will be held at Sheffield Hallam University from Friday 31 March 2017 to Saturday 1 April 2017.
Tickets are priced from £203.15 and are non-refundable, but can be transferable up to two weeks before the conference.
