The one-day symposium will be present and discuss research as part of a programme funded by the National Institute for Health Research.
Since the beginning of the research, NCT and Bliss have been involved, providing an example of Patient and Public Involvement in Research.
Midwives, parents, clinicians and researchers are welcome to the symposium to discuss the research, as well as consider other areas for future research.
Abstracts for poster presentations are being welcomed by the organising committee based around the subjects of: intrapartum care, neonatal care in the delivery room, parent experiences, and methodological issues in research.
Chosen abstracts will invited to present a short presentation and a prize will be awarded to the best presentation on the day.
