Judges for the RCM Awards 2017 have announced the final award nominees for this year’s categories.
This year, judges were impressed by this year’s finalists who have shown hard work, innovation and commitment to midwifery.
The awards aim to recognise the work midwives have achieved through a wide range of innovative practice and research.
The following awards to be won are:
EuroKing Better Births Award
JOHNSONS® Award for Excellence in Maternity Care
JOHNSONS® Student Midwife Award
Lansinoh Award for Team of the Year
Policy into Practice Award
Pregnacare® Award for Maternity Support Worker of the Year
RCM Caring for You Award
Reducing Inequalities Award
Sands Award for Bereavement Care
Slimming World Award for Partnership Working
Kellogg’s All-Bran Award for Midwifery Service of the Year
Finalists for Thompsons’ Members’ Champion and Emma’s Diary Mums’ Midwife of the Year will be announced shortly.
Midwives and allied health professionals are welcome to attend the awards evening which aims to keep attendees up to date with the latest evolving practices, innovations and evidence-based solutions, as well as recognising achievements in midwifery over the last year.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 7 March 2017 at an awards ceremony at The Brewery, London.
Guest compére will be Kate Silverton, who will announce the winners, with RCM Chief Executive presenting the awards.
