The Iolanthe Midwifery Trust has announced they are now accepting applications for the Iolanthe Awards 2019 from Saturday 1 December 2018.
The Iolanthe Awards offer awards and grants to students, midwives and people returning to practice.
Applicants can submit for awards and grants online and will be notified of the outcome in April 2019.
The following awards and grants are available:
Student Award – must be a student midwife on a UK NMC pre-registration course or a midwife returning to practice on an NMC return to practice course
Midwives Award – must be an NMC registered midwife
Elizabeth Duff Award – recognising an NMC registered midwife supporting the midwife-mother relationship
Jean Davies Award – an individual or team led by a midwife or student midwife with RCM Membership who challenge inequalities in maternal mental health in the UK.
Midwifery Research Fellowship – awarded to an NMC registered midwife in the final year of their doctoral research
Ann Stewart Award – an award presented to a winner of another category chosen by the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust trustees.
