The NSW Health Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Awards 2021 have been announced in an online ceremony following its postponement.

The awards were due to be held in November but had to be postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The winners were announced online and people were invited to watch the streamed event to celebrate.

Minster for Health Brad Hazzard and Minister for Regional Health Bronnie Taylor congratulated all the winners and finalists in the eight award categories, acknowledging their exceptional work throughout the last few years.

Minster for Health, Brad Hazzard, said: “Nurses and midwives across the state faced one of our most confronting years in 2021 and these awards recognise their outstanding commitment, skills and professionalism during this unprecedented time.”
