The King’s Fund will be hosting a conference for health care professionals to learn about what local organisations and authorities are doing to implement the National Maternity Review’s recommendations.
‘Shaping the future of maternity care’ has been organised by the King’s Fund and tailored by members of the National Maternity Review.
Delegates can expect to learn more about the recommendations highlighted in the review and find out how services can become safer, personalised, kinder, professional and more family-friendly.
The 7 key recommendations of the National Maternity Review will be explored at the conference:
- Personalised care
- Continuity of carer
- Improved postnatal and perinatal mental health care
- A payment system
- Safer care
- Multi-professional working
- Working across boundaries
The conference is aimed at midwives and other members of staff working within maternity services.
